We’re expanding the Andersons shop beyond gift cards—as per guests requests and feedback.
Soon, you’ll be able to browse and book:
- Locally sourced hampers for Breakfast, Picnics, proposals, or just grazing boxes
- Curated experiences like forest bathing, stargazing, or outdoor cinema
- Seasonal packages designed for proposals, birthdays, anniversaries, or solo escapes

Preparing for Spring at Andersons Eco Retreat
As the days grow longer and the weather improves, we’ve been busy behind the scenes getting Andersons ready for springtime guests. Recent updates include:
- Walking trails cleared and refreshed for easier exploration
- Jetty decking fully replaced, leading out to the floating pontoon. Video link below
- Rainbow trout added to the pond, now part of a peaceful morning ritual
Whether you’re here to propose, reflect, or simply unwind, the retreat is ready to welcome you with fresh energy and quiet beauty.
Note: The pond is a no-fishing zone—just peaceful watching and morning joy.
Why We Added Rainbow Trout to the Swimming Hole
They’re not just beautiful to watch—rainbow trout play a vital role in the ecosystem here at Andersons Eco Retreat. These fish help:
- Keep the water clean and clear by naturally balancing algae and organic matter
- Control insect populations, especially those that can disrupt the guest experience
- Support biodiversity, creating a more resilient and harmonious environment
It’s part of our ongoing commitment to thoughtful, off-grid stewardship—where every detail, even the fish, serves a purpose.
