Travel Tips

  • Bring enough food and drinks for at least your first night (20 Min drive back to town for supplies) most people when they arrive, don't really want to leave.
  • Bring suitable shoes for the walking trails, please keep in mind trails can be muddy after rain.
  • Bring swimming attire and beach towels for the swimming hole
  • If you have an EV please remember to charge it before you arrive, the closest charging station is 40 minutes away.

Yes, we provide stacked dry firewood readily available for guests to use. Including firelighters, matches and kindling

The easiest way to find us is to type in 'Andersons Eco Retreat' into Apple maps or Google maps and follow the directions. Written directions will also be sent prior to your stay.

Absolutely, depending on availability of course.

There is no Mobile coverage at the cabin however we do have Starlink satellite internet which allows wifi calling, depending on your service provider. Mobile coverage is accessible at the top of the lookout track.

Yes, we have very good Wi-Fi. Guests have access at the cabin and tennis pavilion areas. Wi-Fi password is provided on arrival.

Yes, we do, if you are a professional, we suggest you bring your own however it's not essential. We also supply, basketball and netball.

Yes, we provide all bed linen, bath towels, bathmat, tea towels, Robes and slippers. All we ask is you bring your own beach towel if you decide to go swimming in the spring fed pond

We understand the desire to linger a little longer or settle in early — and when our schedule allows, we’re happy to accommodate. However, because we often have guests arriving back-to-back and important maintenance between stays, early check-ins and late check-outs aren’t always possible. If you have a special request, just reach out and we’ll do our best to help.

Due to the sensitive nature of the local wildlife, being nestled in the state park, unfortunately pets are not allowed.

Andersons Eco Retreat is an Adults only facility and is not suitable for children.

No, the property is located on a well-maintained, main access road into the Bunyip State Park. Being a gravel road potholes are to be expected at times, however suitable for 2 wd vehicles
